Tips & Tricks for Sucessful Heat Shrinking
Heat guns are perfect for activating adhesives, stretching vinyls, bending plastics, shrinking tubing and packaging, drying wall patches, and applying shrink bands. Matching the right shrink band to your chosen container is important, and can be achieved through our convenientshrink band compatibility chart, or by contacting our customer service department. For more information about shrink bands read our product spotlight.
- Step 1
Simply slide the appropriate shrink band over the cap and container's neck. Make sure you leave enough room at the top for the band to form to the cap.
- Step 2
Once your heat gun is plugged into an AC adapted outlet you're ready to begin shrinking, but first its a good idea to let the heat gun warm up for a minute or two.
- Step 3
As soon as your heat gun is warmed up, begin shrinking by pulling the gun's trigger and slowly waving the nozzle back-and-forth for an even seal.
- Step 4
Enjoy the convenience and ease of your heat gun's shrinking capabilities!
