Tariffs have been increased on imports of aluminum, tin, and steel, causing the cost of these materials to rise in the US. Production costs for manufacturers of metal closures, aluminum bottles, and a variety of metal containers for have risen substantially in a short amount of time.
Manufacturers that purchase all or some of their materials within the US have also experienced a rise in prices. Local aluminum, tin, and steel mills have increased their material costs to maintain profitability and financial security, leading to an all-around industry price increase.
SKS is working diligently to provide competitive pricing for all of our products. Months before Section 232 was implemented, negotiations regarding our pricing were in the works for cost increases that we hope are adaptable to your budget. Price increases will vary from 6.5% - 25%
