Plastic Label Materials

Clear BOPP

Clear BOPP (Biaxially-Oriented (BO) Polypropylene) is a durable, transparent plastic material with strong, permanent adhesive and waterproofing properties. This material is both weatherproof, and tear resistant. The clear BOPP will allow the color of your container and product to show through on non-printed areas, and could be used to give the appearance of "no label", or printing directly onto the container. Clear BOPP can be selected with either a matte or glossy laminate finish. The laminate adds an extra layer of protection to prevent your label print from running when exposed to chemicals, oils or solvents. Temperature Range: -65°F to 200°F. Face: 2.0 mil. Liner: 2.5 mil. Common Uses: Health and Beauty Products, Food and Beverage, Soaps, Candles, Lip Balm, Vitamins and Neutraceuticals.

White BOPP

White BOPP (Biaxially-Oriented Polypropylene) shares the same properties of durability and moisture resistance of clear BOPP, but has an opaque, white background for a clean, sleek and classic look. White and clear BOPP both offer excellent clarity, UV resistance, and chemical and abrasion resistance. White BOPP can also be selected with either a matte or bright, white pearlescent (glossy) laminate finish. Temperature Range: -40°F to 175°F. Face: 2.4 mil. Liner: 40 lb. Common Uses: candle jars, jam and jelly jars, sauces bottles, health & beauty containers, and warning labels.
