Product Description

Here Black Phenolic Cone Lined caps are available in 13/425 and 15/425 sizes. The cone lined plastic caps provide a wedge type seal that not only seals across the top of the container, it also seals across the inside diameter. This liner is stress crack resistant and offers superior torque retention and excellent sealing characteristics. This liner paired with phenolic plastic caps is commonly used for liquid products and should be tested first to make sure leaking does not occur.

Features & Highlights

• These 38/400 phenolic cone lined caps are made from black phenolic.
• Phenolic construction handles higher temperatures than standard plastic (including autoclave sterilization), resists chemical corrosion, absorbs very little moisture, and offers long-lasting rigid strength as a thermoset material
• Often called a Polyseal closure, the molded polycone wedges tightly into the bottle neck to seal both the rim and the inner wall, standing up to essential oils, solvents, acids, and other harsh chemicals without loosening or gluing shut over time.
• Phenolic's rigid, thermoset construction gives it a heavier, more premium feel than standard polypropylene, and it won't crack or strip under the high torque of automated capping equipment
