Glass Dropper Bottles

SKS stocks glass dropper bottles in a variety of shapes, sizes, and colors. The natural composition of glass means there will be no chemical interaction between the product and the packaging. This could make it a great option for housing products like essential oils, extracts, or various chemical based products. Choose from 1/2 oz, 1 oz, or 2 oz sizes in clear, frosted, blue, or amber. Other 1/2 oz bottles that dispense 40 drops per squeeze are the natural LDPE cylinders with white child resistant caps and dropper tip inserts. If looking for packaging that is both child resistant and tamper-evident, the 5 ml, 10 ml, 15 ml, or 30 ml natural LDPE dropper bottles could be a great choice. The dropper tip that comes with these bottles allows for continuous flow of a small amount of product. The child resistant caps feature tamper-evident rings that will tear from the bottom of the caps and remain on the neck of the bottles when first opened. This will help consumers identify if the packaging has been opened prior to purchase.

LDPE Bottles with Screw Thread Dropper Tip Closures

Try pairing LDPE bottles with a variety of screw thread dropper tip closures. For a small amount of product, consider the 2 dram natural LDPE cylinders with white ribbed caps and streaming dropper tips. The white LDPE dropper bottles are also paired with screw-thread or child resistant white ribbed caps, a good choice if interested in opaque packaging. The dropper tips paired with these bottles dispense 40 ?l of product per drop. For a slight change in style, opt for the oval dropper bottles, or boston rounds. All made from LDPE and offered with screw thread caps, they offer the same features but with a different look.

Cap Neck Finishes

To prevent leakage and ensure your product stays fresh, it is important the cap fits the container to ensure a proper seal. The thread of containers and closures are generally expressed with two numbers separated by a hyphen or slash. This number is referred to as the neck finish. The neck finish of a container is what holds the cap, stopper, or closure with protruding threads. To create a proper seal, a container and closure must have matching finishes. The first number of the neck finish for a cap is determined by measuring from one side of the inner wall to the opposite side, while you will measure from outermost thread on one side of a container to the other side. The second number of a neck finish is determined by how many times the threads pass one another, according to industry standards. For example, the second number will be 400 for one full thread turn, 410 for one and a half thread turns, 415 for 2 full thread turns, etc. Click here for more information on neck finishes.
