Product Description

The white metal lug caps are available in multiple sizes and feature plastisol liners for a hermetic seal. Purchase these lug caps in smaller bags or by the case for an even greater discount!

Features & Highlights

• These 38/2000 metal plastisol lined lug caps are made from white metal.
• Plastisol seals by heat: it softens, conforms to the jar's rim, then hardens into an airtight vacuum seal as it cools -- commonly used for hot-fill and heat-processed goods, and often includes a pop-up safety button to show at a glance if the seal has been broken.
• Withstands heat, and interior coating protects against rust and metallic off-flavors from acidic contents
• The lug design locks onto matching threads with a quarter-turn, common for canning and preserving applications.
• Available in large neck-finish sizes to pair with a range of wide mouth glass jars for easy access to the contents
• Works across pressure canning, water bath, and open kettle canning processes
