Understanding Emails received from SKS Bottle & Packaging
SKS has an ongoing initiative to become paperless. One major reduction in paper use is how notifications are provided during each stage of the ordering process.
Email Acknowledgment
When and order is completed online an email acknowledgment is instantly sent.
- There will be an INV number listed, which is the order number created at the time of placement. If you have any questions regarding your order, this number will be the quickest way customer service can locate your order for fast and accurate assistance.
- Ship To & Bill To: The addresses entered while placing the order will be located here. Verifying that both are correct now can help eliminate possible delays. Some of these delays can include a P.O Box listed as the Ship To, incorrect street numbers or zip codes, or the Attention line not stating a name needed. If any part of the address needs revising please immediately contact customer service with your order number for assistance.
- Ship Via: This will be the shipping method chosen at the time of checkout.
- Product Information: A detailed description of the items purchased, quantity, and the price will be listed on the email acknowledgment.
Managing Orders Online
There are multiple reasons why creating a free online account with SKS is a good idea, one being able to manage orders with your order history available instantly.
When an order is placed while logged into an online account, you will be able to see the detailed information of the order and have a Cancel Order button if immediate cancellation is a needed option. Once an order is processed and in the warehouse, you will need to contact customer service to see if an order can be canceled.

Digital Packing Slip
The next email received regarding the order will be the digital packing slip.
- Product Information: In the section for each product 2 lines will be added. The first line is the Status line; this will list the date the item shipped from one of our distribution centers. The second line is the tracking number, which will be either UPS or a Common Carrier.
UPS tracking numbers are typically uploaded by the end of the day by UPS and can be tracked on our website. If the order ships on a pallet via Common Carrier, the carrier used for the shipment will be listed. - Shipped From: SKS has two distribution centers, and the center used for the shipping of your order will be listed here.
- The Digital Packing Slip emailed will be your record of how the order was packed, and how many boxes there will be. There is no list printed on paper within the boxes.
Invoice
The last email received for your order will be the invoice.
The invoice will state that your order has been completed, and will reflect the final total amount collected as payment. Typically this total will match the total listed on the email acknowledgment, but if an adjustment is made that changes the cost of the order, the new total will be listed here. Some of these adjustments include adding/removing items, changing the shipping method, or revising the order to bulk.
All prices on the website and invoices will be listed in USD.

The new actions available are "Make A Return" and "Email/Print Invoice."

- Make A Return - Once the products have been delivered, and you\'d like to return the something for a particular reason this button will guide you through this process.
- Email/Print Invoice - This button will allow you to receive a new email with the invoice included, or the option to directly send it to a printer for a paper copy.
