What are Snap Top Caps?

Our unlined snap top caps are often paired with tottle bottles, used for sunscreen, lotion, and more. These dispensing caps have an opening diameter of .154" and dispense easily with a light squeeze of the bottle. 18 mm and 22 mm white and black snap top caps feature a flat base and are structured to fit clear, amber, and white tottle bottles, allowing the bottles to be placed upright during storage.

When looking for travel-size containers, hotel amenity containers, packaging for gift sets, and more, choose 15/415 white snap top caps paired with white and natural tottle bottles in smaller capacities. The smaller, smooth snap top caps have a .125" orifice for controlled dispensing of various products.

SKS offers PET and HDPE tottle bottles that are highly durable and compatible with a range of products. HDPE plastic features suitable moisture barriers, impact resistance, and resistance to grease, oil, heat, and cold. HDPE is also semi-flexible to easily squeeze and dispense more viscous products. PET tottle bottles have good oxygen barriers, and resistance to grease, oil, impact, and cold. Clear PET plastic has high clarity, whereas amber PET plastic provides excellent UV barriers for light-sensitive ingredients.

Ribbed 38/400 size snap top caps with peelable liners are available in yellow, red, black, and white. These plastic caps feature a .25" diameter orifice to smoothly and cleanly dispense food products, like dressings or sauces. Peelable liners are helpful for locking in freshness and extending product shelf life. After filling, securely screw the snap top caps onto the bottles and let them sit for about 24 hours; the peelable liners adhere to the rims of the bottles without use of additional machinery.

Black 38/400 smooth snap top caps can dispense honey, dressing, and more using a .815" oval-shaped opening for pouring without spilling. SKS offers these dispensing caps with two different induction liners. Induction liners create a hermetic, tamper-evident, airtight seal that assists in preserving the freshness of your product. The FS3-25 induction liners have three layers (backing, foil, and heat seal) bonded together to create a secure induction seal. Lift 'n' Peel™ induction liners consist of six layers: PET film, polymer adhesive, a PET tab, polyolefin foam, foil, and a heat seal. Activating these induction liners involves using an induction liner machine, which is sold in different models to suit varying production sizes.

Choose from unlined 20/410 and 24/410 size ribbed white, black, and natural snap top caps and smooth black and white snap top caps. The 20/410 size snap top cap has a .125" opening diameter, while the 24/410 size features a .25" orifice diameter. The ribbed and smooth difference is simply a design choice; the plastic caps all work similarly.
