Black Phenolic Caps for Cosmetics

Black phenolic caps offer a smooth, shiny finish and can be used to create a dynamic look for cosmetics. Black phenolic caps with F217 liners are available in smooth flat or dome styles and offer the versatility of phenolic plastic with additional barriers. F217 liners provide excellent chemical resistance to acids, alkalis, solvents, alcohol, oils, household cosmetics, and aqueous products. They also offer low moisture transmission rates, odor resistance, and do not alter product taste. Black phenolic cone lined caps are the most widely known option. Within the black phenolic caps is an LDPE cone that is stress crack resistant and fits inside the neck of the cosmetic bottles to create a wedge-like seal.
