Tips and tricks for successful induction sealing:

Induction sealing is a simple way for you to achieve a tamper-evident product, deter leakage, promote freshness, and add value to your product line with the use of induction liners. Enercon's Compak Jr. provides a convenient and ideal way for induction sealing. In this brief tutorial we'll explore the power-packed features of this compact sealer and familiarize ourselves with the process of induction sealing.

Step 1: Fill your container with your product.

Fill your container with your product

Step 2: Either manually or automatically cap your container with the appropriate torque. Since torque is expressed in inches per pound, as a general rule of thumb torque is about half of the diameter of the cap. We recommend utilizing a Spring Torque testing device (please email us for inquiries on purchasing) to measure the container's necessary torque and you may also referrence our Torque Guide chart.

Close your container's cap with the appropriate torque necessary for proper induction sealing

Step 3: Select the correct sealing time, which is usually determined by closure size. Please reference your sealer's manual for appropriate sealing times.

Set the induction sealer's timer to the appropriate setting

Step 4: Place the cap beneath the sealing head controller, press the trigger, which will activate the heat inducting process. The timer will automatically shut off.

Apply the induction sealer head to the container's liner

Step 5: After the induction process you'll want to check to make sure your seal is secure.

Test the sealed liner to make sure its secure
