- Step 1: First, with one collar already on the holding rod place your roll of labels in between the two retainer plates with their flange facing in towards the cord of labels. Then tighten the set collar for proper alignment.
- Step 2: Next, feed the label leader in between the two plates, wrap it around, and in between the rubber roller and feed-roll hinge assembly.
- Make sure you lock the feed-roll hinge assembly into place once your leader is through by clicking it into place.
- Step 3: If you find you need to adjust the micro-switch trigger's alignment you can do so by taking off the roll and holding rod, and flipping the machine over. With the provided wrench you can easily adjust the positioning of the micro-switch trigger. Be careful not to touch or bend the micro-switch trigger's lever.
Step 4: Make sure your Bottle-matic is plugged into an appropriately grounded electrical supply.
Step 5: Once your labels are in place and the micro-switch trigger is adjusted to the proper dispensing length you're ready to turn your Bottle-matic on and begin labelling. If labels feed continuously without pressing the foot-switch. Turn off the machine. Micro-switch adjustment is needed.
