Label Order Terms & Conditions



Artwork

There are two options when uploading your artwork during the custom label ordering process. You can upload finalized PDF artwork, or a high resolution Jpeg image. If a Jpeg is uploaded, you can optionally select the placement and orientation of the image on the label, add add customized text boxes. Jpeg images uploaded must be a minimum resolution of 300 dpi to achieve a high quality print. If a PDF file is uploaded, artwork must be finalized and sized to the correct shape and dimensions for the selected template, as editing options are not available. Please ensure that fonts used in your PDF are outlined, and that any embedded images are at least 300 dpi resolution, in order to prevent rejection of your artwork.

Lead Time

Label orders are typically delivered within 7 - 8 business days after artwork proof approval, when artwork is approved and accepted with no issues. Labels will ship separately from all other bottles, jars, caps or other packaging items on your order. No rush shipment requests for label orders will be offered. Please allow at least 7 - 8 business days for delivery after receiving and approving your digital proof. If there will be any delays beyond the usual 7 - 8 business day lead time, you will be contacted via email with updates.

Once printing is complete, the custom labels will ship directly to the shipping address listed on the order if within the United States. If the shipping address is outside of the United States the custom labels will be shipped to SKS and will then be shipped to the shipping address via UPS.

Returns Policy

No returns will be accepted on label orders and no credit will be issued for labels. All label sales will be final once you have approved your label proof. It is important that you fully understand and agree to the Terms & Conditions prior to placing your label order. Only submit your final artwork when placing your label order. SKS will not be able to accept any artwork changes or modifications once your label order is placed. You are responsible for proof reading your artwork for any possible mistakes on spelling grammar or content prior to submitting your label order.

Cancellation Policy

If you would like to cancel a custom label order, please contact customer care immediately. In many cases, canceling custom label orders is not possible once processing has begun.

Digital Proofs and Fees

Once a label order has been placed, processing begins immediately. The custom label order is sent for printing, and a proof will be drafted. Once a proof is created, it is emailed to the email address used for the order for approval.

If your artwork is approved, you will receive an email within 1-2 business days containing a link to our proof approval form. Follow the link to the SKS site to view your proof from our label printer to ensure that the labels design is clear, accurate, and oriented properly on the template. Select Yes or No to approve or disapprove the proof and submit your response. If you reject the proof, our Customer Care team will work with you to submit new artwork to the label printer. If you approve, production of your labels will begin soon after.

Printing will begin if the proof is approved, and the custom label order processing time will begin. If the proof is rejected, a customer care representative will contact the email address provided to possibly remedy any issues to complete the custom label order to the highest satisfaction.

All images uploaded to the SKS servers are used strictly for producing labels for customers only. SKS will not take or pass copyright of any images uploaded to our servers. Images are stored for record keeping purposes and for making label reordering easier and no other purpose.
